I’ve been fascinated by design, art, animation since a
young age. I learned the basics of animation, sketching and
drawing in an art school on the small island I grew up on - La Réunion. After many years of working as a computational linguist,
I took the leap to professionally pursue my passion with the
dream of becoming a UX, UI designer.
I learned the crucial foundations for UI design through
self-teaching and mentorship and took on nonprofit positions
in an nonprofit as a UX, UI designer to further advance my
skills. My professional background as a computational
linguist and my studies (including behavioral economics and
market research) greatly aided me in the transition to UX,
UI design.
Through understanding and applying different design
frameworks, I’m now able to confidently work with and adapt
to a variety of project specifications and constraints.
When I’m not on a computer designing, I enjoy hikes in
nature, photography, plant based cuisine, and all topics
related to sustainability and a healthy lifestyle. You’ll
also find me reading my weekly manga chapters and trying to
catch up with my Steam games library.
